"What are your hobbies?"
Just like everyone has experienced this conversation, I myself have been asked this question many times.
Since I come into contact with clothes a lot in my job, I don't think of it as a hobby, so I generally answer, "Watching movies, I guess."
I like alcohol but I don't enjoy it as a hobby, and I haven't been able to pick up a book lately.
When it comes to music, it's difficult to dig deep into it through a brief conversation, and if you have different preferences for genres, it's like a shutter is closed and you can't really get to know each other.
In this regard, when it comes to "watching movies," many people these days subscribe to video streaming services and often enjoy anime and dramas even if they don't watch movies.
Also, most works are made in around two hours and can be understood with both sight and sound, so the content seems easy to get into.
There is an app called Filmarks that allows you to record the movies you've seen and save the ones you want to see. The other day I noticed that I had seen over 1,000 movies, and I realized that I spend more time watching movies than the average person.
While watching a movie, I can't help but worry about the costumes, although it may be an exaggeration to say this because of my job.
However, there are many different costumes, and of course I love the suit styles in classic movies, but when I see someone wearing something that's not too dressy but still catches my eye, I can't help but smile and think, "They really get it."
(At the beginning of Ocean's 11, a young man with no name is wearing a Martin jacket.)
I would like to introduce some items that have that perfect balance and a unique twist, making them easy to wear without feeling pretentious.
NAMACHEKO HELIOS JACKET
This jacket hits the spot, maintaining an exquisite balance while still embodying the brand's unique identity.
Made from high-quality cotton finished with moleskin, this item has a washed, soft black color and can be worn casually.
However, the large, sturdy collar and concealed placket create a nice mix of masculinity and elegance.
The left and right pockets on the front are reminiscent of the D-pockets found on vintage rider jackets, and have deep gussets, making them an eye-catching detail.
The buttons feature the distinctive circle design that the brand has long used, giving the garment a distinctive NAMACHEKO feel and making it instantly recognizable as NAMACHEKO clothing.
The garment is also wide, so if I were to use an onomatopoeia to describe it, I would say wear it loosely.
It's still chilly at night at this time of year, so it's a good idea to pair it with your favorite T-shirt.
Personally, I'm attracted to men who carry big handbags, especially if they're dressy.
To be honest, I don't usually carry much luggage when I go to work or go out, but when I see people carrying large bags, I feel a little overwhelmed.
However, something too extravagant for traveling like a Boston bag doesn't feel real, and shoulder bags are overflowing on the streets these days, so VAQUERA handbags are just right for the current mood.
Honestly, it's my most wanted item in the store right now.
VAQUERA MONOGRAM BAG
Although it has many flashy decorations, such as a monogram on the front reminiscent of a certain high-end brand and a plate with the VAQUERA emblem painted on it, just carrying this bag with a formal outfit of a broadcloth shirt and a tie can give off a somewhat dangerous vibe.
It has a fairly large capacity, so you could probably get by on just this one bag for a summer trip.
When you hear the words "monogrammed bag," you immediately think of a woman, but VAQUERA's monogrammed bags are fashionable and not gaudy even for men, and can be casually slung in your hand while going out.
(I also bought one, but you can add a TEDDY BEAR strap from the same brand to make it even cuter.)
It goes without saying that it looks good on masculine guys, but it can also create a nice contrast when worn by someone with a softer impression.
I basically only wear leather shoes.
Whether the pants are denim or shorts.
I always like to incorporate an element of "dress" and leather shoes are an easy and quick way to do that.
ORIMI GOOD BOY POINT SHOES
ORIMI has released two types of shoes for the first time as a brand, and this time we would like to focus on the pointed shoes.
The shoes I'm introducing this time are made of patent leather, which makes your feet look more glamorous. (I really should have bought these too...)
In fact, this pair of shoes caught quite the attention at the ORIMI SHOW.
The velour ribbon acts as the shoelaces while at the same time enhancing the dressy image of "patent" and the sharply pointed toe gives a more mysterious impression, enhancing the sense of fashion.
I don't currently have any patent shoes, so I think that these shoes would give my feet a different look, even though they're all black, which makes me want to buy them even more.
It goes without saying that it goes well with slacks and trousers, but you can also throw off the balance by pairing it with denim.
If these shoes were to appear briefly in a scene in a movie, I would definitely pause and stare in amazement, and I would like people to wear them daily while fantasizing about this.
In the end, the list was filled with items that I want right now, but the rainy season is about to start, which will be a period of low spirits, so I hope I can find some clothes and items that will lift my spirits even just a little.
The Osaka store will soon be approaching its second anniversary.
I am so grateful to all the people who always come to our store.
I think that many of the clothes will look different now that deliveries have settled down, so please come and have a look in your spare time.
