As the weather gets colder, long coats and down jackets are commonly seen around town.
I'm also fighting the winter cold by wrapping myself in the NAMACHEKO fur jacket I bought last year.
Many of the items people need right now, such as knitwear and outerwear, have sold out in stores, and after a long period of warm weather this year, we are finally starting to feel the full force of winter.
The KEISUKE YOSHIDA POP UP has been held since last Saturday, with many items being purchased by customers.

On the 15th, the night before the POP UP, they held a reception called the COCKTAIL PARTY and served alcohol in the store for the first time since their anniversary party.
After work, the Elephant crew and designer Yoshida went out to eat, and Yoshida told us stories that we don't normally get to hear, which inspired us and made it an unforgettable day.
Yoshida-san was a very friendly person and was happy to teach me everything from how to make fashionable clothes to answering small questions.
KEISUKE YOSHIDA is a brand that we have been carrying since THE ELEPHANT was launched, and Yoshida-san is close in age to the owner, Orimi-san, and they are close friends.
According to Orimi, he is very sympathetic to the rebellious spirit of clothing design, and the brand is not just competing with fashionable clothes, but with clothes that are completely different from anything else.
Keisuke Yoshida

Keisuke Yoshida. Born in Tokyo in 1991. Graduated from the Faculty of Letters at Rikkyo University.
After working at coconogacco and ESMOD JAPON, he founded KEISUKEYOSHIDA in 2015.
Participated in the Tokyo Collection from the Spring/Summer 2016 season.
The collection features feminine classic wear with a unique twist, based on the concept of an atmosphere that is unclear as to whether it is bright or dark, and the emotions and attire of the people who are there.
This POP UP will feature many FW24 items.
There are many American casual elements such as the oversized bomber jackets, hoodies, and baggy denim that will be introduced later, but the essence of KEISUKE YOSHIDA shines through and is not simply so-called "American casual."
FLIGHT JACKET

The MA-1 jacket is my personal favorite from this collection.
As you can see from the photo, it is quite oversized and can of course be used as a heavy outerwear.
Although it is packed with elements of the traditional MA-1, each piece is completed with details that are unique to the rebellious KEISUKE YOSHIDA.

We use WALDES, a long-established Japanese zipper manufacturer whose zippers are often used in the finest vintage clothing.
Another important feature is the double zipper, which meets modern needs.

The ribbing around the neck is also on the inside While the rolled-up sleeves create a unique look, the cigarette pocket on the left arm is also neatly tucked away, which I think is a very clever way to strike a balance without being too casual.
However, the main attraction is undoubtedly the dyeing of the products.
Yoshida was particularly particular about this part, and apparently went through many trial and error processes before bringing it to market.
Rather than just being a plain black color, the finish has been intentionally made to have an uneven texture, and I personally feel that this kind of chaotic look is more like KEISUKE YOSHIDA than a crisp image.

The back print has The design includes text such as the FW21 collection title, "Like a Dead Pigeon," and the products come in two colors: black and gray.
YUGAMI SLEEVE PARKA

Like the previous item, this hoodie is oversized and features a double zipper like the FLIGHT JACKET, with a small gold zipper.
Available in BLACK and GRAY.

However, the front print of the BLACK version is produced in two types: the text "DARK AGE" and an illustration of a pigeon, which is also often used by KEISUKE YOSHIDA.

As the product name suggests, the distorted pattern on the underarms and sleeves gives this hoodie a sense of discomfort and disrupts the wearer's silhouette in a good way.
Because it is made of a thick material, it can be worn as an outerwear item from now on, and you will be able to wear it for a long time.
WIDE DENIM PANTS

Last but not least, the most popular item at this POP UP are the denim pants.
This item also comes in black and gray, and due to the nature of denim, it will be fun to watch the color change over time.

While the length is very long and trendy, it is not just wide denim but has a double design with a bell-bottom-like hem that flares out, giving it a strong American casual feel.

However, rather than the five-pocket style common to denim, the brand opted for side seam pockets on trousers, which is its specialty, resulting in a finish that is typical of KEISUKE YOSHIDA.
Of course, it goes well with casual attire, but the sharp silhouette also adds definition when paired with a collared shirt and tailored jacket.
Currently, the items introduced this time do not have online pages and will only be available at the Osaka store during the POP UP period until the 24th, so please be sure to stop by.
Although the price isn't listed this time, it is a very reasonable price.
We hope you will experience KEISUKE YOSHIDA's rebellious spirit, which is different from his usual style.

(I fell in love with the belt at first sight and bought it immediately...)
