Terms of service
ARTICLE 1 - PAYMENT
The Buyer may use any of the following payment methods to pay for his/her order:
- Debit or credit card (Visa, Mastercard , JCB or American Express)
All payments made on the theelephantmarket.com website are encrypted and secured by SHOPIFY.
ARTICLE 2 - DELIVERY
Products will be shipped by theelephantmarket.com to the delivery address given by the Buyer when placing his/her order.
International deliveries are made by DHL or another carrier of high repute.
The products will be received in 3-7 days after check out.
It depends on the area of the buyer.
Delivery costs are calculated automatically when you check out. Delivery costs depend on the size of the order.
A tracking number will be sent by email to the Buyer after theelephantmarket.com despatch the products. The Buyer will then be able to track his/her parcel from dispatch through to delivery.
The Buyer must examine all goods at the time of delivery and ensure that any damage or shortages are recorded in writing on the carrier's delivery note. Claims must then be made by telephone or email to theelephamtmarket's Customer Services team within 72 hours.
ARTICLE 3 - IMPORT TAXES AND DUTIES
Orders to countries outside Japan may be subject to import duties and/or taxes, which are applied when your package reaches your country. Your order is shipped on a DAP (Delivered At Place) basis. We are unable to estimate the amount of duties and taxes your package will incur as these charges are imposed directly by your local government.
Payment to the relevant authority is necessary to release your order from customs. For more information, please contact your local customs authority.
ARTICLE 4 - RETURN POLICY
For vintage items, theelephantmarket.com never accept refund or exchange.
But if the Buyer is unhappy with a product purchased except vintage, theelephantmarket.com will be happy to exchange it for another item.
Items must be returned by the buyer in their original unused condition and packaging within 3 days after the date on which the order was received, enclosing a copy of the invoice. Goods should be returned to thr store adress.
Return postage, packaging and other costs shall be paid by the Buyer.
Any returned items that are damaged or incomplete will not be exchanged and will be sent back as is to the Buyer, at the Buyer's expense.
No exchange will be offered against items purchased at reduced or Sale price
ARTICLE 5 - AVAILABILITY
Our products are offered subject to availability of stocks.
theelephantmarket.com will inform the Buyer, by email or by telephone, as soon as possible after an order has been placed if any product ordered is not available in stock. If a product is not available, the order may be cancelled by theelephantmarket.com.
